My thoughts: We received the F1 Dual Analog Gamepad for PC Games.  My husband plays a lot of PC Games so he was the perfect one to test this out.  It sits comfortably in your hands and the buttons are all located in the perfect place, as far as he was concerned.  It was easy to hook up since you just plug it into your PC and play.  There is no software to install and no set up required.  It’s really cool, he likes it!

My thoughts: This is so perfect for so many reasons.  First of all we have so many rechargeable devices that our counter top is crazy with chargers and wires.  I love having one little unit, that stores nicely in the pouch that came along with it, for everything we use.  The second thing I LOVE about this is that it holds a charge itself for charging on the go.  The last two times I traveled my phone battery died so I was looking for a bathroom that had a plug so I could charge it.  This would of come in perfect since it will give you about a 3 hour charge.   I think the PowerPak is something that everyone should consider investing in.

My thoughts: I received the black ear buds I really like them, though I think the pink ones are pretty cool!  They come with 3 size ear cushions and the medium size fit comfortably in my ear and did not fall out at all.  The cord is long enough I just wish the part where they join (from each ear) was a little big further down, but it’s not that big of a deal.   Who couldn’t use a nice set of ear buds.

My thoughts: What will they think of next!  Even though it doesn’t hold a lot of music I think it’s pretty cool for someone who likes to spend time in the pool.  And for those that swim for exercise, why not make it more fun with music.  Actually I would use these for any kind of exercise.  They do clip onto my glasses, but don’t sit as flat as when they are clipped onto swim goggles.  I also think it’s perfect for laying on the beach.  This way you don’t have to worry about getting sand in your MP3 or iPod.

There is a USB connector that also charges the MP3 player while connected to your computer.  Charge it for 3 hours and your good to go.  You can load the music on while it’s charging too.  Actually each time you load music it will also charge at the same time.  It’s so easy to add music.  Just open up your music files then open up the SwiMP3 Disk Drive (it looks like a Disc drive in my computer on a PC) then drag the music from your music file to the SwiMP3 drive.  That’s it.  Pretty simple.

My thoughts: My husband travels overseas for work so he needs something portable that works on batteries when it comes to alarm clocks.  He also needs something small.  Bulky just won’t work for him.   We recieved the Moshi Voice Controlled Travel Alarm Clock just in time for his last trip.  I expected it to be bigger, but it wasn’t and that’s a good thing.  Like I said he needs something compact.   We played around with it to figure out how it worked, which is extremely simple considering it talks you though it, before he left.  He just came back from his trip this past week and he said it worked great and he loved how easy it was.  Needless to say he has claimed it as his own for when he’s traveling.  But I’ll grab it when I head to New York City this summer (8/10) for Blogher.  I’m sure I’ll need a reliable alarm clock that weekend.

My thoughts: My husband uses an electric razor so he was more than happy to try out the Remington Flex 360 razor and I’m happy to report he really likes it.  His older razor, that wasn’t really that old, is now his spare razor!  He uses the Flex 360 everyday and it gives him a nice clean shave.  The only thing he didn’t like about it is the cover does not stay on very well.  It doesn’t really “clip” on so it falls off easily.  But he can look past that since he likes the performance of the razor.

My thoughts: My husband isn’t the handiest person I know, but there are times he does pull out his tools to fix things.  Amoung those tools he has some Channellock tools and when I told him we’d be getting the VJ-1tool gift set to review, he was pretty happy.  He already knew that Channllock was a good brand he was looking forward to trying a new tool.

He played around with the V-Jaw Tongue and Groove plyer since it was a size he hadn’t tried before.  He was very impressed with it, he liked how small it was and he knows it will be something that will come in handy from time to time.

My thoughts: I thought I knew everything there was to know about taking care of a baby.  I had been around babies all my life and baby sat a lot.  But I wasn’t prepared for how much harder it was when they are your own.  There is so much that you don’t see when you aren’t the parent.  And while no one can really prepare you enough, it is helpful to know some inside details that babies bring to your life, so it’s not so shocking.  That’s what I really enjoyed about this book.

Basically it’s little tidbits of information, helpful information from parents.   Things they learned and advice they want to pass on to other new parents.  Since dad’s seem to be more in the dark, this would make a great Father’s Day Gift for a new dad.
