My thoughts: I thought I knew everything there was to know about taking care of a baby.  I had been around babies all my life and baby sat a lot.  But I wasn’t prepared for how much harder it was when they are your own.  There is so much that you don’t see when you aren’t the parent.  And while no one can really prepare you enough, it is helpful to know some inside details that babies bring to your life, so it’s not so shocking.  That’s what I really enjoyed about this book.

Basically it’s little tidbits of information, helpful information from parents.   Things they learned and advice they want to pass on to other new parents.  Since dad’s seem to be more in the dark, this would make a great Father’s Day Gift for a new dad.
