Today I’m going to talk about one of the survey companies that I use. It may be new to you but if it’s not and you work with them, I’d love it if you’d leave a comment and let me know how you’ve done. But before you start taking any surveys, read this post about getting started with surveys.

I want to tell you about Opinion Outpost which is one of my favorite survey sites and it pays really well. I receive survey invites from them a couple of times a week and sometimes more. It really does depend on your profile. But if you don’t qualify that’s OK, the more surveys you try and qualify for, the more invites you’ll get. If you don’t try after a while they will stop sending you invites.

Most times before you take a survey they will ask you a few questions to screen you for future surveys. By taking those screeners you’ll get more invites.

Earning Points: The surveys are worth points and 10 points = $1.00. Usually they are worth much more than 10 points. I’ve even received one for 170 points = $17.00.

Cashing Out: You need to have 50 points or $5.00 to cash out. I’ve received several payments from them.

Looking for something to do this weekend that won’t cost you money? How about making some money? That’s always nice! One thing that I do for extra money is take surveys. I’ve talked about it many times so for those of you that have read my blog for a while know that I work with a lot of different companies. It took me a while to find the ones that really paid but once I did I started making some money.

Now we aren’t talking millions by any means. Just some nice extra cash, maybe for gas or a special night out each month or you can save it all for holiday shopping. If you have time to take a lot of surveys, you may even be able to pay for all your holiday shopping with the money and gift cards you earn through out the year.

I’ve done the research for you and weeded out all the companies that say they are survey companies but don’t really want your opinion, just your email address. You can read my thoughts on all the companies I’ve been paid by in the Paid Survey Site section. But here is a list of some of my favorite companies:

A few suggestions before joining any survey sites:

Use a separate email address just for surveys so they are kept all together and they don’t flood your inbox. Some companies will email you several times a day and others several times a week. But if they are all together, then you’ll be able to skim through them when you have time.

Make sure once you join, you check your email for a verification email. Unless you click the link in this email, you won’t receive any updates. Not every company will send a verification email but some will.

Once you join, they usually have a screener survey or profiles. Make sure to fill these out. This is what they use to match you to surveys as best as they can.

Today I’m going to tell you about another survey company that I’ve used to make some extra cash. DollarSurveys is a survey company that pays you $1.00 for every survey completed.   It’s not BIG bucks by any means but for someone who has some extra time, it will add up over a period of time.

What’s Involved?:   Each survey will begin as a screener, to see if you qualify or if they are looking for someone else. Usually the screener’s will take a little while, however there are times where they will be a bit longer and then you find out you didn’t qualify. It stinks, I agree but it doesn’t happen very often. If you don’t qualify for that survey then you’ll have an opportunity to try for another one.

Cashing Out: You will automatically be paid within a week of completing surveys via paypal. It doesn’t get any easier than that!

Paypal is the only payment option. Once you sign up, they will send you daily reminders to check for surveys. At any time you can unsubscribe and they won’t send you anymore emails.

It’s been a while since I’ve mentioned this survey sites so I wanted to remind you about it since it’s one of my favorite sites – My Survey. We aren’t talking millions here but some extra pocket cash, coffee money, gas money, fun money………….. whatever you want it to be. I know we could all use some!

But before you start taking any surveys, read this post about getting started with surveys.

My Survey is a site I’ve been a member of for about 5 years now. Again this is a real survey site that wants your opinion and will pay you for it. The thing I like best about My Survey that you will even earn points for taking the screeners. Not all sites give you credit for the screeners and it’s nice with they take the time to recognize that even if the screener takes less than 5 minutes, it’s still good to be paid for your time.

I receive on average 6-10 surveys a month. This will depend on your demographics so it can be more or less for you. The average survey length is 20 minutes and the rewards vary.

I have another great survey site for you today and it’s called My View. It’s another real survey site that wants your opinion on services and products and in exchange for your time they will give you points that you can then cash in for gift cards including Amazon and Visa Gift cards!!! To me both of those are like CASH!

But before you start taking any surveys, read this post about getting started with surveys.

I was a member of My View years ago but it kind of feel to the wayside and then they stopped sending me surveys so I’ve rejoined and I”m excited about working with a new survey company. They system has changed since I used it before but I think the website is more user friendly than it was before.

I first checked out the rewards section just to make sure that it was going to be worth my time and I was excited to see a variety of gift cards available for rewards. They used to pay cash, but I can’t find that option but I’m cool with an Amazon or Visa Gift Card, like I said above.

Right off the bat I was offered a survey where I earned 125 for 3 minutes which were questions to see if I qualified, which I did and then they offered me an additional 500 points to complete the survey and it took me about 15 minutes. So I earned 625 points in about 15 or so minutes. I good with that!

Product Reviews: I’m not sure if My View participates in product reviews as well but once I know I’ll let you know!

Earning Points: My View rewards you for taking the screener as well as the survey which I love. They do realize that all our time is valuable. That’s always a plus in my book!

Cashing Out: You can cash out your points for gift cards and more! It looks like you can cash out for a magazine subscription at 2800 points.

I have another great survey site for you today and it’s called My View. Shopping Online is the way to go, especially around the holidays. Who wants to stand in line for every purchase they make? I sure don’t! I’ve been sharing ways for you to make some extra cash with surveys and today I want to tell you about another company called My Survey. We aren’t talking millions here but some extra pocket cash, coffee money, gas money, fun money………….. whatever you want it to be. I know we could all use some!

But before you start taking any surveys, read this post about getting started with surveys.

My Survey is another one of my favorite survey sites and I’ve been a member for about 5 years now. Again this is a real survey site that wants your opinion and will pay you for it. The thing I like best about My Survey that you will even earn points for taking the screeners. Not all sites give you credit for the screeners and it’s nice with they take the time to recognize that even if the screener takes less than 5 minutes, it’s still good to be paid for your time.

I receive on average 6-10 surveys a month. This will depend on your demographics so it can be more or less for you. The average survey length is 20 minutes and the rewards vary.

Product Reviews: I’ve received a few products to review from My Survey and then I’ve also been paid to take the survey after I used the product. I’ve received FULL size products including diapers, frozen dinners and snacks. Another nice perk to taking surveys!

Earning Points: My Survey rewards you with points for taking a survey’s. They will tell you how much you’ll earn for the screener first and then if you qualify they will tell you how much more you’ll earn to continue. It’s all up front.

Cashing Out: You can cash your points in for prizes, gift cards including amazon and even paypal! This is a new point system they recently came up with. 1100 points = $10.00 paypal.

I’ve never EVER had a problem with My Survey and it’s one I highly recommended.

My Survey is often looking for moms of small children, especially babies! I know they send out product reviews on baby products so if you have a baby I recommend you join so you can give your opinion on some baby products!

I have another great survey site for you today and it’s called My View. It’s another real survey site that wants your opinion on services and products and in exchange for your time they will give you points that you can then cash in for gift cards including Amazon and Visa Gift cards!!! To me both of those are like CASH!

But before you start taking any surveys, read this post about getting started with surveys.

So I earned 625 points in about 15 or so minutes. I good with that!

Today I’m going to tell you about another survey company that I’ve used to make some extra cash. DollarSurveys is a survey company that pays you $1.00 for every survey completed.   It’s not BIG bucks by any means but for someone who has some extra time, it will add up over a period of time.

What’s Involved?:   Each survey will begin as a screener, to see if you qualify or if they are looking for someone else. Usually the screeners will take a little while, however there are times where they will be a bit longer and then you find out you didn’t qualify. It stinks, I agree but it doesn’t happen very often. If you don’t qualify for that survey then you’ll have an opportunity to try for another one.

Cashing Out: You will automatically be paid within a week of completing surveys via paypal. It doesn’t get any easier than that!

Paypal is the only payment option. Once you sign up, they will send you daily reminders to check for surveys. At any time you can unsubscribe and they won’t send you anymore emails.

I have another great survey site for you today and it’s called My View. It’s another real survey site that wants your opinion on services and products and in exchange for your time they will give you points that you can then cash in for gift cards including Amazon and Visa Gift cards!!! To me both of those are like CASH!

You tell them what you think about stuff like:

What’s Involved?:   If you are selected they will send you a hand held scanner. All they ask is that each time you come home from the store with something you’ve purchased, whether it’s one item or fifty items, just scan them as you put them away. That’s all! It’s very simple.

Cashing Out: You will earn points you can then turn in for cash and prizes! They have a huge selection too.

Now if you don’t get accepted, don’t be discouraged. They are often looking for a certain area of people and that can change from time to time. If you’ve applied before and have not been accepted you may want to try again. A spot in your area may have opened up!

Today I’m going to tell you about working with affiliate companies. If you blog, even if it’s just about what funny thing your kid did today, you can work with affiliate companies to get some advertising on your site and then you can make a little money while blogging!

Escalate Media is one company I’ve been working with for a while now and what stands out about them is they really work with you. I not only receive emails from them about the new programs they have but they also send me ways to help promote them and how and why the offers work well with my blog. They also try very hard to pay as much as they can. The customer service is excellent and whenever I’ve had to contact them they always get right back to me. It’s more like working directly with a person, rather than with a company.

Payments: They pay monthly and will pay via paypal which is my favorite way of being paid. And no fees come out of your payments… that’s even better!

Who Can Join: Anyone who blogs or has a website can join. It’s FREE to join but you do have to pay taxes on any money you make with them even if they don’t send you a 1099 at tax time. Any money earned is money you need to claim. You can keep track of it right in your account if you’d like too!

Today I’m going to talk about one of the survey companies that I use. It may be new to you but if it’s not and you work with them, I’d love it if you’d leave a comment and let me know how you’ve done. But before you start taking any surveys, read this post about getting started with surveys.

I want to tell you about Opinion Outpost which is one of my favorite survey sites and it pays really well. I get survey invites from them a couple of times a week and sometimes more. It really does depend on your profile. But if you don’t qualify that’s OK, the more surveys you try and qualify for, the more invites you’ll get. If you don’t try after a while they will stop sending you invites.

Most times before you take a survey they will ask you a few questions to screen you for future surveys. By taking those screeners you’ll get more invites.

Earning Points: The surveys are worth points and 10 points = $1.00. Usually they are worth much more than 10 points. I’ve even received one for 170 points = $17.00.

Cashing Out: You need to have 50 points or $5.00 to cash out. You can either get an instant amazon gift card or you can request a check. Checks will arrive in 4-8 weeks. I’ve received several payments from them. You can join HERE.

Cash4Books : Sell Books Online for CASH!

Looking for a way to clear out some clutter and make some money? Why not sell books online at Cash4Books.net? I’ve done it and it’s super easy. You don’t even have to pay the shipping. All you need is a box and a printer to print the packing slip and label and that’s it.

I recently sold some books at Cash4Books and I was very happy with how easy it was. All I did was punch in the ISBN number from the book and it told me if they would buy it and if so how much they were offering me for it.   Once I was all set, I printed out a packing slip and a shipping label, boxed everything up and dropped it off for delivery FOR FREE.

Once they received my order and verified everything they processed my payment through paypal. It did take a while, but I got it!

I have a bunch more books I need to sell again and I’m hoping to get to it over the long weekend.

You can make money online. Not millions, but a decent amount if you try and have the time and patience. There are several ways that I make some extra cash online. I’ve talked about most of these ways on my blog before but this post is to put them all in one place.

You Data – You can get paid to view ads online. You won’t make big bucks, but some extra cash. In the end every little bit adds up to more. All you need to do with YouData is view some ads and then every Friday they send you a paypal payment. It’s real simple. You may have noticed the YouData widget on my right sidebar. Once you join You Data you can either go to their website or you can view the ads right from my blog or any other blog that has the widget.

Surveys – I earn a lot from taking online surveys. You do have to be careful when you join a survey site because not all of them are real paying sites. I recommend you use a seperate email address so your personal inbox doesn’t get flooded with emails. I’ve written reviews on the sites I’ve used in the Paid Survey Sites section of the blog. Affiliates – If you have a blog you can earn money through advertising with affiliates. There are several you can sign up with and I’ve had success with a lot of them.

Kontera – If you have a blog you can also earn money with in-line ads with Kontera. It just picks certain words from your posts and highlights them and if you hover over them there will be a little ad. The thing I like best about Kontera is there aren’t a lot of ads so it’s not crowding your posts.

Like I said, you won’t get rich from any of these things, but some extra cash is always good, right?

There really are ways you can earn money from home, but unfortunately there are also a LOT of scams too. It’s best to do a lot of research online to see what people are saying about companies or find people that blog about these things from first hand experience!

And it took hardly any time at all! When you view ads on a widget that is on someones blog, you have the option of sharing your money (like a tip) with the blog owner. You don’t have to do this at all, but it’s nice to have that option. Of course us bloggers love when our readers support our blogs. But don’t ever feel like you have to share with me.

When I first decided to start this blog it was to share with everyone (or anyone that found it) how I’ve been saving money and making a little bit of money online. At that point I was taking surveys and doing a little bit of mystery shopping.

Once I began my blog I discovered affiliate programs. I thought you had to have a ‘business’ in order to sign up with these companies but then I found out that you don’t, anyone who has a website can join an affiliate program and make money while blogging. I then began researching the different companies, looking for recommendations and applying. It’s hard to know what kind of programs they have without actually signing up so I signed up with a few different ones.

Basically how it works for bloggers is if you are already talking about a product or service you can get paid to talk about it. For instance, some of the survey sites I was a member of already, have affiliate programs where if someone joins when they click your link, then you get paid. Most of these survey sites offer their members referrals already, so it’s just another way of getting referrals.

In the last two months I’ve found a couple of Affiliates that work better for the content of my blog so I tend to use their programs more than others. My favorite one is Logical Media. I’ve made over $200 already with them. I haven’t been paid yet because it takes about 60 days from what I understand to be paid and they pay you by the month. So really I started with them in September so if I understand it correctly I’ll get paid the end of November for the month of September. When I do I will let you know. Logical Media has a nice variety of good programs. Another one of my favorites that I just discovered is OfferWise. They work with a lot of survey companies which is great for my blog.

I will only talk about things that I use, or companies that I know can be trusted. I will try my best to not represent anything I don’t know much about and if I don’t know it, I’ll try to learn about it before I talk about it here.

So if you have a blog, which I think just about everyone now a days has one, even if it’s a personal blog about your families, you should look into some affiliates and see if you too can make money for your time blogging. It’s super easy!
