Jen from Savoring The Thyme is back this week with more delicious frugal recipes that include items that may be on sale at your stores.   All these recipes are featured on her blog, and besides a few guests post – she makes them all herself!   Hope you like her choices and let me know if you make any of them!

This week she is focusing on something that can be easily substitued for something else – salmon! .

Salmon is a weekly staple in this house however; these recipes would be great with whatever fish was on special this week. The best part of these three recipes as that you probably have everything you need in the fridge or pantry right now:

Baked Apricot-Almond Salmon Recipe: grab the preserves, garlic and sliced almonds for a moist and tasty fish dish. nom-nom.

Herb Whole Grain Mustard Salmon: herbs and mustard = super fast and easy.

Honey-Soy Broiled Salmon: Honey, soy sauce and vinegar make this a tangy main dish. Simply substitute ground ginger from your spice cabinet for the fresh ginger if you wish.

You can also join in the fun and yumminess of the Savor the Thyme Community on Facebook.

Check back next week when Jen brings us more fun and easy frugal recipes to help you plan your shopping trip and keep within your budget!
