I’m sorry but greeting cards are just too expensive and I don’t really buy many anymore. Most people just toss them in the trash once the event is over so why pay all that money for something that’s going to go in the garbage, right?
Just about everyone is online and I find that email really is the best way to communicate when you are busy. Don’t get me wrong, I still love chatting on the phone but with 2 small children, a house and husband to take care of, not to mention running this blog, phone time just doesn’t last longer than a few lines of conversation before someone interrupts me and I lose my train of thought. That’s why I like email. So who says we can’t email cards? I think they are a huge time saver and sometimes they are even more personalized for the person you are sending them to. Now to make this even better, how about free ecards? Yup, I said it FREE!
I found a site that is actually called Got Free Cards and they have a HUGE selection to choose from. And get this, they don’t just have ecards but they also have free printable cards and if you have children like mine that like to color, you can even print some for them to color. This is a great rainy day activity. Print out the cards you know you’ll need in the coming months and let them decorate them. Then set them aside to mail when needed.
But if you just want to stick to strictly ecards then you can find them for any occasion. Of course they have free birthday ecards, free get well ecards, free love ecards and they even have free sorry ecards. The list goes on.
My personal favorite part of this website is you can pick out your cards at the beginning of the month and then schedule them to be sent on the recipients birthday. Talk about another time saver!
