We are in the beginning stages of Polly training in my house. My youngest just turned 2 and she’s somewhat interested but not totally there yet. On Mother’s Day my mother went to change her diaper and it was dry so she asked her if she wanted to go on the potty and she said ‘sure’. So off they went to the potty. books in hand. After just a few minutes my mother happened to look down and noticed my daughter was just finishing going on the potty! She was so excited and proud of herself (my mother not my daughter, my daughter doesn’t really see the excitement in it yet). I was very happy to get this nice little present on Mother’s Day, it was only the 2nd time she’s gone on the potty. We are working on doing it more but it is a slow process but I know we’ll get there.
I found a cute potty training chart that my buddy Brandie at Free Sample Freak posted and thought it would be perfect for our training. We never had to use one with my older daughter but I have a feeling we will need it with my younger daughter, she’s very different then her sister in so many ways.
