Last week I went to a few stores including Target, CVS and Stop & Shop, but only did a small shopping trip at Stop & Shop. I essentially just grabbed a few things on sale to be able to use their store coupons and get some cheap cereal and crackers! I stocked up on Toilet Paper and Kleenex at CVS with the ExtraBuck deal they had on Scott and Kleenex. We are all set for a while!
Remember these numbers are just for coupon savings. If I included my savings on sales as well my total would be much higher ($80.34) but this is to show you how using coupons really helps to make a dent in your spending. Also I am not an extreme couponer and I don’t buy stuff just to use coupons. I purchase items on sale that my family needs and stock up just a few items and no more than 2-3 of each (if I even do that!). It’s more realistic coupon use.
Here is what we saved with coupons…
- I shopped at Stop & Shop and saved $1.62 with coupons
- I shopped at Target and saved $14.18 with coupons
- I shopped at CVS and saved $7.10 with coupons
MY total saved last week with coupons was $22.90.
January 2012 Coupon Savings –$21.60
February 2012 Coupon Savings – $79.94
March 2012 Coupon Savings – $59.60
April 2012 Coupon Savings – $114.11
May 2012 Coupon Savings – $142.40
June 2012 Coupon Savings – $58.61
July 2012 Coupon Savings – $.o0
August 2012 Coupon Savings – $128.48
September 2012 Coupon Savings – $83.48
October 2012 Coupon Savings – $176.54
So how did you do?? How much did you save JUST with COUPONS – we aren’t even talking sales – just what you save with coupons. Anyone can walk in the store and get a sale price, but I want to show you how much more can be saved with those little pieces of paper.
