Have you seen those commercials where the group of women have a “Spendervetion” to help their friend that always pays full retail for everything she buys? They show her she can get the same quality but for a better price at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. And it’s so true, you really can!
I was recently sent 2 gift cards to TJ Maxx and Marshalls to see what kind of deals I could find. My husband came with me to TJ Maxx and he couldn’t believe the prices, he never shops there. Here is what we got for just over $25:
Nylon Kitchen Fork – $3.99 (compared at $8.00)
(2) Hand Towels $2.99 each (compared at $4.00 each)
Monogrammed Wash Cloths, set of 8 $7.99 (compared at $12.00)
Set of 4 Wine Glasses – $7.99 (compared at $14.00)
I have to tell you, the hand towels are the softest hand towels I’ve ever felt. I think I’m going to go back and get more because they are just awesome. I was also very excited when I saw the monogrammed wash cloths. We don’t have any (not that we need them) and my husband just laughed at me with how giddy I got when I saw them. 🙂 I was very happy with the prices we paid and if we had bought these else where we would of paid about $42.00! That’s a difference of $16.05. I like that kind of savings.
I don’t have a Marshalls near me so I sent my mother with the gift card to see what she could find. She had so much fun. Here is what she got:
(2) sets of 4 place mats at $7.99 each
9 pc. washcloths at $4,99
set of 3 dishtowels at $4.99
3 small severing trays at $2.99 each
She spent $34.93. Not bad for all of that.
Next time you are looking to go shopping check out TJ Maxx or Marshalls and let me know if you find some good deals. Happy Shopping!
