Last week I wrote about my shopping trip at TJ Maxx and Marshall’s and all I was able to buy with 2 $25 Gift Cards. Well, they sent me 2 more gift cards to see what I could find for Father’s Day.
My girls and I set out on Friday to shop at TJ Maxx and we had so much fun. I was very excited when I got there to see that they were giving away reusable shopping bags too. I love my reusable bags and use them all the time.
When we were done we settled on the following gifts for my husband for Father’s Day:
My husband loves to cook breakfast and he recently mentioned he’d love to have a ‘medium’ size omelet pan so we grabbed him one of those. It was only $12.99 (compared to $20.00 elsewhere). We also found a cool laptop sleeve that was on clearance. It was originally $29.99 (compared to $60.00 elsewhere) and it was marked down to $10.00 so I grabbed that. And then we found a Refillable CD/DVD Binder that holds up to 40 CDs. I knew this would be perfect for his car. He has a lot of CD’s and the cases keep breaking. The best part was it only cost $4.99 (compared to $7.99 elsewhere).
I decided I would look for something for my father in law at Marshall’s. He’s a little harder to shop for than my husband but I do know he enjoys grilling and he does it a lot in the summer. My in laws try to eat healthy so they grill a lot of veggetables and I know they grill a lot of corn. I grabbed him this cool thing that holds corn on the cob so it won’t move around on the grill. It cost $7.99 (compared to $12.00). I also found a cool grilling shaker basket which was really deep which cost $9.99 (compared to $14.00) and then an all purpouse grilling basket which is perfect for all kinds of vegetables and only $8.99 (compared to $11.00). I figured he’d be all set for grilling just about anything with all of this. Oh and I also got a FREE reusable shopping bag at Marshall’s too!
I am sticking to shopping at TJ Maxx and Marshall’s because they really do have some great deals.
