All you have to do is sign up for a FREE UPromise account. Once you’ve done that you add your store savings cards to your account. You can add your CVS card, Stop & Shop card, Shop Rite card and more. Once you add your savings card to your account every time you purchase something that’s in the program it will automatically be added to your UPromise account. It normally takes a few months to show up, but it always does. Occasionally you’ll receive an email saying if you purchase a particular item during a certain time period you’ll receive a bonus. Those are always nice.
Another great thing about UPromise is they’ve recently added coupons you can ‘load’ into your account. An example is Huggies Diapers . For the past few months they’ve had a coupon for $1.00 if you buy Huggies. The ‘coupon’ acts like a bonus so if you load that coupon into your account, when you purchase them during the time period specified, you’ll get an extra $1.00 put into your UPromise account on top of any percentage that you’ll already be getting from purchasing the diapers in the first place. Just another nice incentive to buy their products. Each month you can ‘load’ new coupons into your account. If it’s something you think you might buy during the month then select it. If you don’t buy it, you just won’t get the extra money.
What I especially love about UPromise is that Grandma(s) and Grandpa(s) can also help you save money for college. They can open up a UPromise account as well and have their earnings allocated to your child or children. Again, if they are already buying the participating products, why not get more FREE money.
If you shop online and you shop through the UPromise website, you’ll also earn money back into your UPromise account. There are tons of online stores that participate and if you add your credit cards, you’ll also receive cash from using them too. There are restaurant’s that will give you cash back into your UPromise account for eating there as long as you put it on your credit card.
If you have children or grandchildren that will go to college someday, you really need to join UPromise and starting getting money back from things you buy. I have just over $100 in my account but my kids aren’t even in school yet so I have plenty of time to save more, and I will. Click HERE to join.
