It’s going to be a bit quiet here for a few days. I’m having my tonsils out tomorrow (Wednesday) and I probably won’t be online much for the next few days. I’m not too sure what to expect as far as recovery since I don’t really know many people who have had their tonsils out as an adult but they tell me the first few days are the hardest.
I’m not going to leave you all hanging though. I’ll be working tonight to schedule a few things and some of my wonderful blogging friends are going to to hack into my blog and keep you all updated on the hot stuff over the next few days.

I had mine out when I was in college. My recommendation… leave some beverage out so that it’s room temperature for pill swallowing. I would take my medicine w/ the room temperature liquid, then pour some more to get to room temperature, while I slept for large blocks of time.
Getting them removed hurt much less that living w/ constant tonsillitis!

I hope all is going well and that you heal quickly. I agree that the temporary pain and discomfort will be worth it in the end, when you feel good again! Take good care of yourself.
I remember having mine out (even tho’ I was younger) I wanted lots of Ice Cream!! What a good excuse to eat ice cream right? Doctors orders! Good Luck and I hope you’re feeling better soon. Have someone keep us posted as to your progress.
