The Interactive Chore Chart: Getting Your Kids Excited About Spring Cleaning

The Interactive Chore Chart: Getting Your Kids Excited About Spring Cleaning

There was a song my kindergarten teacher used to have us sing when it was time to clean up the classroom after playtime: Clean up, clean up Everybody, everywhere Clean up, clean up Everybody do their share I would gladly join in on singing the song with my classmates, but I did not so readily join in when it came time to actually clean up. At home, too, my mom had a hard time getting me to pick up after myself. Being a kid, I liked leaving my toys where they were. They were paused in a moment of action that I could return to at any time without having to perform a recap of the last drama I had the toys partake in. Old habits die hard, I guess. But when chores are made to be fun,...

FREE Printable Valentine Bingo Cards

FREE Printable Valentine Bingo Cards

My kids love playing Bingo, as do I.  You can easily make your own Valentine Bingo Cards at home with cardstock and stickers.  I made some Bingo cards for a Halloween party once using stickers. I printed out a bingo grid on cardstock.  Then the kids each made their own card by placing the stickers wherever they wanted on the card.  I then cut out squares of cardstock and put one of each sticker on the card stock as "cards".  I choose a card and if they had that sticker, they marked their card.  It was a lot of fun. But if you don't want to make them and you are planning a Valentine's Day get-together why not print these Valentine Bingo Cards for the kids instead of making some.  These will...

Be a Kid Again with Hasbro Board Games #HolidayGiftIdea

This post is Sponsored by Hasbro but my opinions are 100% my own! When I was growing up, Saturday night was game night for my brother and I.  My parents would go to a movie and the babysitter would come over and play board games with us.  I loved it and remember the fun we had together.  Some of my favorite Hasbro Board games were Monopoly, Sorry, Connect Four and as we got a bit older, Battleship!  I have so many great memories of these games and I'm so glad that my girls now have my love of board games.  While there are so many great games, I still love the oldies that I played as a kid and I'm so happy to add them to their board game collection. Below are some of my favorite Hasbro...
