Product Information: Hillshire Farm lunchmeats are a great and tasty option to turn to when packing school lunches. Hillshire Farm lunchmeats come in a wide variety of flavors and cuts and come double sealed which helps to lock in freshness! Hillshire Farm Deli Select Lunchmeats have recently come out with two new lower sodium products – Ultra Thin Honey Ham and Ultra Thin Oven Roasted Turkey Breast. Both of these items feature the American Heart Association’s heart-check mark and will be hitting grocery stores very soon.
My thoughts: My oldest started Kindergarten last month and unfortunately we have half day kindergarten in my town and she goes in the morning. She is very hungry when she gets off the bus and she barely says hello to me before she asks “what’s for lunch”. So needless to say she wants something fast and good. Of course the easiest thing to do is jump in the car and go to McDonald’s but that’s not the best option for my daughter.
She enjoys turkey sandwiches so lots of times I grab a package of Hillshire Farm Honey Roasted Turkey for lunch. I love that it’s in a resealable package that really helps to keep if fresh longer. She really enjoys it as do I. We also like the Honey Ham. I enjoy it as much as the deli meat and most times it’s cheaper.

I love Hillshire Farm’s meats! I’m always cooking up their kielbasa with potatoes or pierogie, my husband’s favorite meals. Our 3 year old who is allergic to beef and won’t eat much other meat will eat their lunchmeat…
