It’s that time of year again…. yup! The holidays are coming and they are coming fast. Can you believe that it’s just about November already! CRAZY!
One thing I enjoy doing is sending a holiday card with a picture of our girls. When they were really little, I’d set up a photo shoot to get the perfect picture usually in their holiday dresses. Boy was that a challenge! But I was determined to get that perfect shot. Well I’ve given up on that and now I like to find a picture from sometime during the year, which they are both in and they are both smiling. Much easier.
Earlier this year while attending my nephews first communion, his uncle snapped a really cute picture of my girls, all dressed up looking pretty. Its one of my favorite pictures of them so I decided that would be our holiday card picture this year.
I logged into my snapfish account to find they have an all new Holiday Card Studios with beautiful designs!! They are divided into categories so you can easily find what your looking for. I selected ‘christmas’ and browsed the selection. I found a few I liked but decided on this card since the colors would go well with the colors of their dresses.
Here is my card:
It was so simple to do! Once I clicked on “create this card” I was brought to a screen where I could either choose glossy, matte or writable stationary card stock. I could then choose a picture I’ve already uploaded, or upload more. I unloaded my picture and then dragged it to the right hand side in the ‘your photos’ section, then hit done. I had the option to edit my photo if needed, but all I did was move it just a tad and that was it. I then click in the text area and typed in my greeting “Love, The Wilmes Family”. That’s it!
This was the easiest holiday card I’ve ever made.. seriously!! Since I already knew which picture I wanted to use, it was done in under 5 minutes!!
