My purse is a catch all for everything and anything. I usually carry a big purse but got tired of toting everything so over the summer I picked up a smaller bag. Well guess what? I still find myself shoving everything I can in it. It’s crazy. But one thing I don’t normally have in there is a healthy snack for me or my girls.
I was excited when I was contacted by Kellogg to see if I wanted to take on a challenge to Plus Up My Purse! They offered to send me a gift card for $75 and a coupon for a FREE box of Kellogg’s FiberPlus bars to see how I could Plus Up my purse. Challenge accepted!!
Here is what was in my purse before I began the challenge..
Yup.. I fit all that stuff in that little purse… pretty crazy! My biggest problem is all the receipts that end up in my purse… I needed a way to organize that. I also desperately needed a new wallet. The button on my was falling off and it was just too big for my purse. And since it was big, I was overloading it.
And notice there is not ONE healthy snack in there, not one!!
I bought myself a new wallet, one that had just enough room for what I need and I also bought a checkbook holder, but not for my checkbook since I don’t take that with me, but for my receipts and gift cards. Believe it or not, I found a bunch of gift cards that had small balances on them that I had no idea I still had! Now I do and they are organized. I also picked up a box of FiberPlus bars and I now have a few of them in my purse for a quick healthy snack.

I am going to try my best to keep it organized and to keep some FiberPlus bars in there as well!
