I have a slight obsession with socks.  I’ve mentioned it before and I’m not ashamed of it.  I just LOVE socks.  But not those white socks or plain black socks, I love random, cute, silly, funky, odd socks.   I am so excited that the cooler weather is coming because that means I get to wear my socks again, however I’m not looking forward to having to cover them up because it’s really cold and snowing and I have to wear boots.  Oh well.

So I was exited to find yet another company that makes really fun socks.   It’s FootCardigan.com and they are an online subscription based company that will send you a random pair of quirky socks right to your doorstep every single month for only $9!!!  There’s no way to predict what’s in store until you rip open that special delivery.

And for only $9 a month you can toss the old, holed tube socks and get your kickers on some mustache-covered toes or cute creatures.   OK, I have no idea what they will send but they say they will be fun.   If you like to match your socks to your outfits then this isn’t for you.  But seriously how many people actually see your socks when you have on jeans and sneakers, or even boots for that matter.

There is no commitment and you can cancel at anytime.   And you can pay month to month or pay ahead in 3 month increments.  This would actually make a fun gift for someone who is hard to buy for too.  I know I’d love this for a gift (hint hint to anyone that knows me that is reading this!).  Because remember I love socks and getting a surprise pair in the mail each month would be REALLY fun!  If you decide to send them as a gift, they will gift wrap them for $2 more each month or just the first month.

You can purchase them for men (size 7-13) or for women (size 5-10).  I think it would be fun to have them for kids too but they don’t offer that option.  I know my girls would like this too!

I received two pair of socks from FootCardigan.com for my review.  I didn’t get to choose them, they were totally random (and both for me!).   I received the following socks..

My first impression?  CUTE, super cute.   The girls were disappointed when they saw them and realized they were for me and not for them.   The socks are made with 75% combined cotton, 20% polyester and 5% spandex.  So what does that all mean?  It’ means the colors are super vibrant and the socks are SUPER soft and very comfortable.

According to the packaging you can machine wast them in cold with like colors, which I did and the colors stated vibrant after I washed them.  They also recommend storing them with other socks so they can become friends.  That’s what it says on the label, I didn’t make that up people, I’m not that witty!
