CVS/pharmacy also has other unexpected back to school items such as backpacks, snacks, gadgets and electronics, and a wide selection of back to school gift cards like Barnes & Noble, Bed Bath and Beyond, Starbucks, and Amazon.com.

I received some Back To School supplies from CVS this week for my review.  The girls are very excited to start school and especially about the new school supplies they get.   CVS has a line called Caliber and they make really good products.   I don’t find them much different from the name brand ones to be honest.  Especially for my elementary school kids.  They aren’t picky, as long as it works.

The No. 2 Pencils work great and you get 10 in a pack.  This week they are on sale for $1.37 for a 10 pack.  The soft handles scissors work well too and they are on sale for $1.00 this week (according to the picture in the ad, I haven’t verified this in the store yet so don’t hold me to it!)  The pencil-case works well with 3 ring binders as it has the 3 holes so you can loop them right in.   And the pencil sharpener is small enough to fit in your backpack and it worked well on the No. 2 pencils.  My youngest was very happy about this as her sister had one from last year but she didn’t.  So she claimed it as her own.  And the 1 subject notebook works just as well as the name brand ones, but more than half the cost.  They are on sale this week for $1.oo each as well.  Paper is paper right?

So don’t go and pay full price, instead stop by CVS and pick up some of their Caliber brand school supplies.  And grab something extra for the teacher too, they can always use the supplies!

Disclosure: I received FREE samples for review. My opinions are 100% mine.
