entertainment book

This post is Sponsored by Entertainment Book but my opinions are 100% my own!

I love my Entertainment Book and I was very happy with my 2014 book arrived last week.  We were planning on taking the girls to see FROZEN over their holiday break and this book would be put to immediate use with the discount movie tickets inside!  Instead of paying $13 for each adult ticket, we paid only $8.50 each for a savings of $9.00.  We also used another coupon to get a FREE Large Popcorn (BOGO Large Popcorn) for a savings of $8.50.  Even though we spent quite a bit for the 4 of us to go to the movies, we were able to save $17.50 with two coupons from the Entertainment Book.   And that was only ONE trip to the movies.  There are 10 more discounted movie coupons and 2 more BOGO Popcorn coupons that I know we are going to use before they expire.  At that point we will have saved $62.50 more for a total of $80.  If we don’t use anymore coupons in 2014, the book will have paid for itself and then some.

I sat down and looked through the book to see what other coupons are there that I know I’ll use at one point or another.  There are certain places we always go so I know those will get used.  I find the best way to scan through this book is to look in the way back at the indexes.  The Neighborhood Index is what I like to use.  In looking through there I already know I’ll use these coupons:

  • $5 off a $20 purchase at The Grid Iron in Warwick, RI
  • Newport Creamery – FREE Dessert with Adult purchase ($6.99 x 2), FREE Kids Meal with Adult Purchase ($1.99 x 2)
  • $10 off $50 purchase at P.S. Aeropostale
  • AMF Bowling – $8 off TWO People
  • Children’s Place – 20% off a $40 purchase
  • Payless 20% off purchase (x’s 2)

and there are so many more.  The savings I listed above will come to about another $50 more for a total of $130!  Is the book worth it? IT SURE IS.  Is it worth paying full price for? Sure, but I’d rather get it on sale!

Check the Entertainment.com website to see what deals they are running today.  With the holidays coming, I bet it’ll be on sale today!  Featuring savings at more than 250,000 locations including retail stores, restaurants, leisure activities and even travel, an Entertainment Book Membership is the perfect holiday shopping companion and a great gift for anyone who likes to save money. The book also makes a great gift of savings for those you care about.
