I tried the Home Pest Indoor Killer already and I’m happy with the results so far as I haven’t really seen any spiders (those I find often enough!) but I guess they could all be hiding on me! Let’s just say they are all dead because that makes me feel better.
The next one I used was the Yard & Perimeter Outdoor Inset Killer. The box say it kills over 200 Lawn Pests including ants, gypsy moths, plant bugs, aphids (my daughter just learned about aphids in kindergarten and filled me in on what they are!), beetles, bees and more. Honestly I don’t even know what most of the bugs are that they list and frankly I don’t want to know. You can use it on lawns, trees, shrubs, roses and flowers along with the outside surfaces of buildings. The instructions inside explain more in-depth how to treat specific insects which I found very helpful.
I treated the area around my patio and pool along with the porch to keep the bugs away from where we spend the most time outdoors. Nothing ruins a cook out more than bugs so I want them away from there. I understand bugs are part of the chain of life and someone’s food. But when I’m eating my food I don’t want bugs there. Plus then they get in the pool and we have to clean them out of the filter. I would be happy in a bug free environment but since that won’t happen, a bug free back yard will do.
This was just as easy as the indoor one and once I was finished with the areas I wanted to treat, I just took the cartridge out and stored it up high away from little hands, for the next time I want to use it. And I will use it again I’m sure. You don’t want to store it outside so somewhere in your basement will be good.
