Product Name: iD9 Speaker System for iPad/iPhone/iPod

Product Information: The iD9 is a sleek rechargeable speaker system designed with the iPad in mind. Of course, it also works wonderfully with iPhone and docking iPod models, charging and playing and giving you great sound that’s perfect for your music, games or apps. Works with iHome+Sleep app for custom alarm settings, social alerts and more, and with iHome+Radio app for global internet radio.

iD9 includes SRS TruBass and Reson8® sound technology for an exceptional audio experience. The built-in lithium-ion battery is rechargeable, so you can enjoy music on the go without worrying about batteries. Accommodates iPads in most skins and cases.

The universal dock will charge and play iPad, iPhone or iPod while docked so you can enjoy your music while keeping your iPad, iPhone or iPod fully charged. It also includes an Aux-in jack which allows you to listen to aux audio sources (e.g., computer, CD player).

My Thoughts: I love this docking station for my iPad for some many reasons but the number one reason is the size. It doesn’t take up much room at all. I have it on my dresser in the bedroom and when I need to charge the iPad or I want to listen to music it’s right there. I’ve moved it around a few times when we’ve wanted to use it for the speakers in another room but I like to keep it in my bedroom.

It’s easy to dock all items. We have the iPad and an iPod touch which my girls use to listen to their music. They can dock it on the iD9 very easily and it automatically plays the music through the speaker system. There is nothing extra to turn on.

This would be great for a teen or a college student for the dorm room. Because of it’s small size, it’s great for an area where space is limited. That’s pretty much every dorm room’s problem!

    I like the portable speaker system. I would love to use my iPod in the classroom to play songs for my kinder kids. The speaker system would make the songs more fun for them than hearing it over the CD player.

As a nursing school student, I need to wake up very early and also listen to my recorded lectures in the morning as I get ready for my hospital rotation or classes at school. It would be a great accessory device for me to use instead of trying to get ready with headphones on!
