I have two great Hasbro games to share with you today –
BATTLESHIP
On May 18, the epic action of the classic naval combat game will unfold in theatres nationwide with the release of Universal Pictures’ “Battleship,”starring Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard, Brooklyn Decker, Liam Neeson and recording superstar, Rihanna. Of course, the live action doesn’t end with the film. Young naval commanders can go head-to-head with the Alien fleet in Hasbro’s Classic Battleship Movie Edition game. Players choose to command either the Navy or Alien fleet and can unleash brand new super weapon cards to destroy their opponent with attacks like those from the big screen! The game comes in a convenient carrying case, making it easy to wage your own battles at home or on the go.
KRE-O
Commanding your own fleet in the Battleship game isn’t the only way to recreate your favorite action scenes from the big screen! With the KRE-O Battleship Combat Chopper set, kids can pretend to take their missions to the skies, complete with a KREON fighter pilot and KREON alien figure. Once the chopper has been constructed, kids can push the lever to spin the rotor and launch missiles at incoming alien attacks like their favorite action heroes from the movie!
My Thoughts: I was very excited to get Battleship to review because I used to play this with my brother all the time when we were kids and I loved it! It’s been years and it was just as much fun as I remembered. Not sure what it is about the game, perhaps the strategy or the kill, I don’t know but my husband and I really enjoyed it. My oldest played with use once too and she really liked it as well. It took a little for her to catch on to how it works but she eventually figured it out.
The girls love Legos and so they were excited to build the Kre-o copper with dad. It’s their fun time with Dad – that and playing catch.
