Product Name: Colgate Optic White

Product Information: Contrary to what most people believe, not all whitening toothpastes are the same.  In fact, most whitening toothpastes are designed to remove surface stains.  Colgate Optic White whitens teeth with hydrogen peroxide – the same whitening ingredient as strips – making it convenient to whiten every day.  Optic White is clinically proven to whiten 3+ shades with daily use for 4 weeks.  You’ll have whiter teeth in 1 week, with results that improve with daily use and fresh breath.

The Colgate Optic White formula activates on contact so you feel it working and you start seeing results with daily brushing.  It has an enamal safe formula that is available in Sparkling Mint flavor and NEW milder flavor of Cool Mild Mint – helping to freshen breath while helping to whiten teeth every day.

Product Price:  Colgate Optic White Toothpaste has a suggested retail price of $4.29 (5.5 oz), $3.79 (4.0 oz) and Colgate 360 Optic White Toothbrush has a suggested retail price of $4.49.

My Thoughts:  I hate whitening strips!  I’ve tried them over and over – different kinds and everything – but I hate them!  Why?  Because of the taste of the strips – which I believe is the peroxide I am tasting but I literately gag and hate it.  LOL  So I like to use whitening toothpastes instead and since I drink coffee on a daily basis, my teeth could use some whitening!

My husband and I used the Colgate Optic White Cool Mild Mint for the past two weeks and we are very happy with it as a toothpaste and as a whitening toothpaste.  First off, even though it contains peroxide, it’s not over powering therefore it didn’t taste that horrible, which was a big plus for me.  I used it as a regular toothpaste and was able to stand the flavor with no problem at all.  One thing I love about toothpaste is the lather and this had a great lather as well.

The Cool Mild Mint was perfect because it’s not a strong mint, sometimes the strong flavors actually burn my mouth, but this didn’t.  The combination of the scent and lather made my teeth feel great.

Like I said we’ve been using it for about two weeks and we both already notice a difference in the color of our teeth and I do see a nice improvement so we are going to stick to it for a few more weeks and see how it goes.  I have a feeling we are going to be pleased with the results!
