My Thoughts: My girls loved the original Elefun where they catch butterfly’s in the nets so they were very excited to try Elefun Snackin’ Safari. It’s for ages 3 and up but anything fun is good for my 7 year old. This didn’t disappoint.
This is a great game for those kids learning their colors but also fun for the ones that already know their colors. What we did was spread them out in a larger room and it made it more challenging for them to get the snacks. The cards are face down in most games so you don’t know where the cards are that you are looking for so it makes it a bit challenging.
However, using the trunk to pick up the cards wasn’t as easy as we figured it would be. You have to put a little power behind the trunk to get it to actually attach to the card you want to pick up. So smaller kids might find this harder to do.
The girls did their own thing and really enjoyed playing with it.
It does require a little assembly but seriously it takes seconds to put the trunks together. You can play alone or with a friend but no more than two players. It comes with instructions for the different games you can play.
