Product Information: When Dylan Schoenfield (Sarah Hyland), Woodlands Academy’s top girl, accidentally drops her expensive “it” handbag into the mall fountain, she is surprised that film geek, Josh Rosen (Matt Prokop), retrieves it for her. In exchange for rescuing her bag, Dylan must agree to be the subject of Josh’s documentary film. Dylan hopes the film will help her campaign for Blossom Queen – she claims that winning is her only life goal. Josh plans to make a hard-hitting expose about popularity, but, as he gets to know Dylan, he learns that the real Dylan is much more interesting than the persona she’s created. At the last minute, Josh decides that his film should introduce this awesome girl to the world, but how will Dylan react when she sees it?

My Thoughts: I loved this movie and I think it’s perfect for pre-teens and teens alike. I do know one thing, I do not want to go back to being a teen because it was so hard then and I can imagine how hard it would be now. This movie was a good example of how I think these kids hide who they really are, thinking they have to be someone else to be accepted, which is exactly what Dylan does, until the real her is pulled out by the Geeky yet handsome Josh.
I love how in the end all the people that were ‘mean’ realized that it wasn’t really how they should and could be.
Now onto the bonus DVD stuff – it comes with 10 episodes of Shake It Up which is one of my girls’ favorite shows right now so they were super excited to watch them as well. There are a few episodes they haven’t seen yet so they are very excited to watch them all. What a great way to get even more for you money with all these extra episodes.
