Product Name: Palmolive® Ultra Antibacterial Dish Liquid

Product Information: “Palmolive® knows that the kitchen is the heart of the home, where family and friends gather to enjoy each others’ company over delicious meals made with love. For years, Palmolive has made kitchens more inviting by providing trusted products that clean dishes to a sparkling shine.

Now, Palmolive® is proud to introduce Ultra Palmolive® Antibacterial Dish Liquid, the only dish liquid approved to kill 99.9 percent of E. Coli, Salmonella and Staph on dishes in seconds.

Recent outbreaks of bacteria in food products like spinach and sprouts put consumers on edge. Every time we prepare a meal at home, there’s a chance of spreading bacteria from food to dishes, utensils and other ingredients. But simple changes, like using Ultra Palmolive Antibacterial Dish Liquid throughout the cooking prep and clean-up process, can reduce the risk of spreading bacteria and put cooks’ minds at ease.

Many kitchen cooking staples, like chicken, eggs and fresh vegetables, can contain bacteria like E. coli, Salmonella and Staph, which can spread to kitchen surfaces during the cooking preparation process. Using Ultra Palmolive Antibacterial Dish Liquid throughout the cooking process can provide peace of mind that your dishes are as clean as possible. It is the only dish liquid approved to kill 99.9 percent of E. coli, Salmonella and Staph on dishes and non-porous surfaces in 30 seconds when used as directed. And Ultra Palmolive Antibacterial Dish Liquid also has Palmolive’s powerful grease-cutting agents to break down tough baked-on grease with ease.”

My Thoughts: One thing I hate is handling raw meat.  It grosses me out.  And I know if I’m not careful cleaning up afterwards, then I could contaminate myself or my family.  So I’m more than happy to use a dish detergent that helps kill bacteria on dishes and kitchen surfaces.  I even use a separate sponge to wipe down the counters, than what I use to wash the dishes.  You never know what could be lurking in the sponge when you go to wash the dishes.  Not that I wash many dishes as I try to put them in the dishwasher as much as possible, but when I do, I won’t use just any detergent, I want something that will kill the germs.

Of course the downside to this is my hands get awfully dry after using an antibacterial soap of any kind, but it’s a small price to pay to keep my family healthy.  Palmolive does the job it’s supposed to do, and that is kill the germs and that works for me.

Since I’ll be hosting the family over for the Holidays, I’ll be sure to keep Ultra Palmolive at the sink, to make sure everything gets cleaned properly.  Will you?
