The community lives on the Ivory Facebook page and is a place where today’s modern mom can come and just dish – share opinions, ideas, and maybe a little attitude on what it is that makes her life so complicated. As host of the Soap Dish, McCarthy will invite Ivory fans and followers to join her in dishing about everyday topics ranging from motherhood, marriage and meatloaf to much more.”
My Thoughts: I grew up using Ivory soap, it’s the only soap my father will use – and he still uses it! It’s a great soap and my skin was never dry when I used it. Now I prefer shower gels over bar soap so I’m excited that Ivory now has some shower gels and in a few different scents!
I received a bottle of the original scent, lavender scent and aloe along with a couple of 3 packs of the bar soap. First I want to say that I love the redesign! I’m not sure they’ve redesigned it since I was a kid so this look is nice and refreshing! Out of the 3 scents I received, the aloe is my favorite. My least favorite was the lavender but that is only because I don’t care for the scent of lavender on anything.
The reason why my father has been so brand loyal to Ivory is because of the clean scent of the original one. He is very sensitive to smells and he has sensitive skin so he’s always had good luck with Ivory and he doesn’t see a point in changing things now.
