This Valentine’s Day spread the love with safer sweets from Lucy’s Cookies

It’s that time of year again – 36 million heart-shaped boxes of chocolate, 8 billion conversation hearts and countless other sweet treats line store shelves across the U.S., waiting to help the smitten express their affection. But for the 15 million Americans with dietary restrictions including food allergies and Celiac Disease, traditional Valentine’s desserts are limited.

Think outside the candy box this year and spread the love with a safer sweet with Lucy’s cookies. Lucy’s is a tasty treat that is gluten-free, vegan, and made without milk, eggs, peanuts or tree nuts—but you’d never know it. Each cookie features a satisfying, airy crunch, and is baked to perfection in our very own carefully controlled bakery.

With seven different flavors including the new Chocolate, Maple Bliss and Ginger Snap varieties you can find something for all your sweeties, whether they have a dietary restriction or not!  Plus, with NO cholesterol, NO tans fat, and at only 120 calories for three cookies, your valentines can indulge with less peril to their waistlines.

When Dr. Lucy Gibney discovered her child had severe food allergies, she got down to some serious medical research—in the kitchen. What began as a mother’s tasty recipe for her child has today developed into a delicious alternative for people with or without special dietary considerations.

You can purchase these in several grocery stores (check the website for a store locator) and also online at Amazon.

We received a box of each of the new flavors – Chocolate, Maple Bliss and Ginger Snap.  No one in my house has any dietary restrictions but it didn’t really matter because we absolutely LOVED them.  Honestly I had no clue that these were lacking gluten, milk, and eggs.  I don’t understand how they can put together a cookie as good as these without those products but I’m so happy that they can!   The chocolate were my favorite and then the maple but the ginger snap were good as well.  I’d actually like to get them all and try each flavor now.

So if you know someone who has some food allergies but you want to send them something yummy for Valentine’s Day – or any other day – I suggested you consider Lucy’s cookies because I believe they will be very well received!
