Credit cards can be very dangerous if you don’t use them carefully, however I feel they can also be helpful.  If you are disciplined enough, there are lots of advantages to using credit cards.

Here are the reasons why I like and use credit cards…

  • I can earn rewards with my everyday purchases – cash back too!I
  • I can monitor our spending by seeing exactly where our money is going, which I can’t always do with cash.
  • I won’t spend money as easily because I actually think about my purchase when using my card.
  • I can budget my money easily with a prepaid debit card.
  • I can shop online and score deals I may not get at the stores – and save time and gas.

I recently learned about the Western Union mun2 Reloadable Prepaid MasterCard which allows you to load money onto your card FREE and easily so you can only spend what you have, and not what you don’t have.  You don’t need a bank account but if you decide to use direct deposit you’ll receive a $10 bonus.  You’ll need to sign up for direct deposit within 60 days of receiving your card and will then receive the $10 onto your card within 60 days of completion of eligible deposit. Easy money!

Remember, credit cards or debit cards aren’t for everyone, but if you are looking for a prepaid card you may want to look into the Western Union mun2 Reloadable Prepaid card.   You could load your grocery budget onto the card and then just take that.  You can’t spend anymore than you have.  And if you don’t use it all, you can let that money sit there and over time it’ll add up.  If you had the cash, you may use it.
