We are a BIG yogurt family and we have really been enjoying YoCrunch so I was more than happy to receive some samples of the NEW YoCrunch Vanilla with Motts! We actually had a few mixed reviews of the products among the four of us and I’m going to share them all with you.
I enjoyed them both but my favorite was the one with Motts Original Applesauce and the real apple piece toppings. Once mixed together, the yogurt tasted like applesauce and it was very good! The apple piece toppings made it even better. I wasn’t as crazy about the one with Motts Strawberry Applesauce BUT I did love the cookie toppings that came with it. I’m on the fence as to whether I’d buy the strawberry one again.
My oldest loves applesauce so her favorite was the one with Motts Original Applesauce, however she did not like the little apple pieces. But then again, she doesn’t like any kind of dried fruit so I think that is where that comes from. She did like the one with Strawberry Applesauce, especially because of the cookie toppings. She asked me one day if she could put the cookie toppings on the one with the original Motts applesauce and of course I let her. Well – she LOVED the cookie toppings on that one!!
My youngest was hesitant to try it because she hasn’t tried applesauce at all yet, she’s very picky. But when her sister was eating the original Motts one with the cookie crumbs she decided to try and it and loved it. She then had one herself. No luck in getting her to try the strawberry one.
My husband doesn’t like apple’s or applesauce so he didn’t try them – he doesn’t know what he’s missing! lol
So the overall verdict in my house is they are good BUT the toppings should be swapped out according to my kids! LOL
They are currently sold exclusively at Walmart but by 2013 they will be in food stores nationwide! Be sure to check out the YoCrunch printable coupons before you head to the store.
