My Thoughts about 7 Years Younger: The Revolutionary 7-Week Anti-Aging Plan

Here’s just a sampling of the many surprising (and usable) stop-the-clock strategies for beauty, diet, fitness and health:

-Take a few minutes each day to mentally savor the things you’re thankful for, and you’ll sleep better and longer each night (pg. 240)  –  I believe this could work.  Think about how many times you go to bed thinking about what you need to do, what you did that went wrong that day, and how unhappy you are about something that happened that day or week….. did you sleep good that night?  Probably not.  I know I don’t when I have anything negative on my mind.  As a mother (or really just anyone that’s super busy) it’s hard to shut down at night but I believe that if I find a way then I will sleep better and I know that good sleep really helps your body.  I’m going to try my best to make a list of things that make me happy and then think of one of them at night as I try to fall asleep to see if I do sleep better!

– Shampoo less frequently to avoid hair dye color-fade. Refresh on your off days by spraying on a dry shampoo at the roots to soak up oil and restore volume (p. 108) –  I actually do this, shampoo less frequently because otherwise my hair dries out from coloring it.   On average I wash my hair every other day and thankfully I have pretty normal hair so it still is fine the next day, sometimes even better.  I haven’t used dry shampoo very often but I should try that too.

I find this book full of useful tips and some of them totally make sense to me so I can see if you combine them all, you probably will slow down your aging process. It’s really all about taking care of your body and mind, which is something we all need to do more!
