My Thoughts: I have used different dishwashing detergents, as you probably know if you’ve been reading my blog for a while as I’ve reviewed others. But as much as I do like some other brands, I just keep coming back to Cascade. Funny because it’s what my mother always used, so I guess she knew what she was doing! I did put it to the test and let one of my baking dishes sit overnight. It actually sat in the sink for more than 24 hours as I only run my dishwasher at night. The results? It worked great. But honestly I didn’t expect anything less because I know how good cascade has worked for me in the past.
So are you going to try this challenge? Let me know if you do or let me know what you think of cascade in general. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Disclosure: P&G provided me with free Cascade products along with a gift card to try Cascade Complete through My Blog Spark. My opinions are 100% mine.
Take the Cascade challenge? NEVER! The ONLY dishwasher detergent I use is Cascade Complete – NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING ELSE gets the job done! And to top it all of like a cherry on a hot fudge sundae in the summer time, is using the Cascade Rinse Aid agent! Now that’s oh-so-fresh, CASCADE CLEAN!
I feel like I ALWAYS have to rinse and/or soak the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher! I know it’s a huge waste of water, but I really can’t convince myself not to.
We’ve been using Electrasol/Finish for a while now, but I just bought Cascade, since it was on sale. So far, so good! (It’s not Cascade Complete though.) I like how there is less packaging (as opposed to Finish, where each tablet is wrapped individually).
If I had soft water Cascade would be just enough. I have tried other detergents but they are horrible. Cascade does well but I have to mix it with a wonderful detergent made of Citric Acid called Lemi Shine. Since we don’t have room for a water softener in our house the Lemi Shine to combats the hard water and the Cascade to cleans the tough stuff off my dishes for a perfect combination. I won’t ever use any other detergent than Cascade but in my house I couldn’t use it without the Lemi Shine.
Cascade is the only way to go!!! Saves time, energy, and money. What could be better?
I had to hand wash dishes for the first 25 years of my life, so now I refuse to hand wash anything. I love Cascade because it makes doing dishes so easy!
This sounds so neat and complete. I’ll give it a try.
Great review – I’m a huge fan of Cascade liquid gel and won’t use any other brands. It’s definitely the best out there and keeps your dishes looking brand new!
