My Plans for Spring Projects {while the snow falls outside}

It's still very cold here in New England, which is expected in January but I'm trying to think warm thoughts as much as I can.  It's going to snow again this week, starting later today.  Again, I realize that I live in New England and we do get snow, but we never know how much to expect and some years we get next to none.  I hate to wish away the months but I'm really looking forward to spring. I'm putting together a Spring To-Do list and I have two big projects on my list.  I will be sharing both of these DIY projects on my blog.   But before I begin, I need to do my research because while they may not be big projects for some, they sure are for me!  (Any tips are greatly appreciated!)...

A Wall of Christmas Cards and What Happens after the Holiday is Over

I love the holidays and so many things about it.  One thing I enjoy day is getting the mail to see what cards have arrived.  It's a great time of the year to connect with family and friends from near and far away by sending cards.  I don't have the time to call everyone to wish them Happy Holidays but I do have the time to send them each a card.   I love both picture cards and regular cards.  And I read each one of them. I have a wall in my living room that is designated for our Christmas cards.  I hang them all as they arrive and love watching it fill up.   We spread them out as far as we have to.  As the wall fills up, it's a sign that Christmas is almost here.
