I asked my readers on Facebook to submit their coupon questions and I will answer them one by one.  This will help those of you struggling and hopefully help those of you just starting out.  I’m always here to answer questions and I’ll help in any way that I can!

How can I maximize my coupons?

The best way to maximize your coupons is by stacking them.   What do I mean by stacking coupons?  Stacking coupons is when you use a manufacturer coupon along with a sale, store coupon and store incentive to save even more!

Some stores will offer store coupons and you may not know this but you can use a manufacturer coupon with a store coupon on the same item.  If that item is on sale, you’ll save even more.  Stores also offer incentive programs that are specific to that store, besides their own store coupons, that will also help you save more when stacked.  Here is an example….

If the item has a regular price of $4.99 and it’s on sale for $3.99 and you have a manufacturer coupon for a $1.00 off and you have a store coupon for $.50 off you’ll save $3.50 off that item.  Here is how..

Item costs $4.99 full price
On Sale for $3.99 (you save $1.00)
Less $1.00 manufacturer coupon (you save $1.00)
Less $.50 store coupon (you save $.50)
You pay $2.49 and save $2.50 off the regular price which is a savings of 50%

If you purchased that item at full price and without the coupon you would of paid double!!
