Now that it’s summertime and it’s warm outside, the last thing you probably want to do is turn your oven on.  I know I sure don’t.  But every now and then you just feel like a homemade pizza, right?   One way to still have it and keep your house cool is to go outside and make grilled pizza!  The first time I heard of this concept was a few years ago when my brother made grilled pizza.  I didn’t understand how you could make pizza on the grill until someone made me one and wow, it was so good!

Not sure how to grill pizza?  Check out the Pillsbury website where they will give you step by step instructions on how to grill pizza.   And if you are wondering why the Pillsbury website would have grilled pizza instructions it’s because you can use their pre-made pizza dough to save yourself some steps.  I love pre-made pizza dough and Pillsbury is one I’ve used often before.    It’s a huge time saver and it’s really good too.

I’m Italian and I love me some homemade sweet Italian Sausage and Peppers but I love it even more on a pizza!  Doesn’t that look good?  (that’s not my pizza, it’s from the Pillsbury website!).   Wouldn’t that be a nice dinner alongside a salad?  I believe it would be.  IF you want to give it a try CLICK HERE for the recipe.  And remember, make it on your grill and not in your oven.
