My Thoughts: We received some samples of Arnold Pocket Thins for our review. The day they arrived my daughter’s happened to be there when I opened the box. My oldest loves tacos and immediately thought they were soft taco shells – we’ve never had any kind of ‘pocket bread’ in our house before so I can see why she thought that. She asked if we could have tacos that night so she could have one. I explained to her that they were for sandwiches and while she was intrigued, she still wanted to add some taco meat and cheese and call it a night.

We haven’t done that yet, but we did have peanut butter and jelly sandwiches using the 8 Grain pocket thins. My oldest and I loved it, my youngest not so much, but that’s OK. The next day they had cheese sandwiches in the 8 Grain pocket thins and the little one loved them! The flavor of the 8 grain was so awesome – so much better than the wheat bread that I normally buy – it was hearty and on it’s own it was just as good.

We then tried the Italian Herb with some turkey and mayo/mustard (I like both together and my older girl loves just mustard) – delicious!  They just gave the sandwich so much flavor and she loved eating her sandwich in a pocket – rather than bread.

You may have noticed that I didn’t mention anything about my husband liking them.  The reason is because he’s not a ‘sandwich’ person BUT he is a bread person.   When we told him how yummy these pocket thins were he decided he wanted to try them himself.  One evening with dinner he grabbed the Italian Herb and cut it open and buttered it like a piece of bread (to each his own, right?) and he loved it.  He agreed they were amazingly fresh, soft and so full of flavor.   I told him how our oldest really wanted to try them with taco meat and cheese and he said that if I wanted to, he’d try the 8 grain that way sometime.  So perhaps she may get her way after all!

Have you tried the Pocket Thins yet?  If so what did you think?  I’d love to hear!

Disclosure: I received a free sample for review. My opinions are 100% mine.
