My Thoughts: My 6 year old has a very hard time blowing her nose.  It’s a wonder she hasn’t suffered from ear aches yet since she rarely gets it all out!  So I tried the tip above about telling her to close her mouth and make believe she’s blowing out a candle with her nose and it really worked!  I have to remind her at times how to do it since she gets all worked up that she ‘can’t do it’ but it’s been extremely helpful.

I suspect they both have allergies as well.  The doctor says they are too young to tell and if they do have allergies they are mild as of now.  But because of this we have tissues everywhere in the house all year round.  And in the car too!

Because we go through so many tissues, I was excited to receive a box of Puffs Plus tissues and some Puffs Plus with a touch of Vicks as well for our review!  My 6 year old immediately took a box when I told her they have lotion in them.  She loves tissues with lotion and are the only ones she wants to use, due to the fact that her nose hurts from trying to learn how to blow it!

So what do we think about Puffs Plus with Lotion and Puffs Plus with a touch of Vicks?  Here is what we liked about them:

  • They are soft…. extremely soft!  You can totally tell there is some lotion in the tissue.
  • They are strong!  There is nothing worse than a tissue breaking up while in use…. that is just GROSS!
  • My kids love them and will use them!  Anything that makes doing something they don’t want to do, easier is good in my book!
  • The Puffs Plus with Vicks work really well when your congested.  They truly do help make my breathing easier.

What we didn’t like about them:

  • While I like how the Puffs Plus with Vicks do help clear my nasel passages, I hate that the smell lasts for a very long time.  But I guess that’s how they work so well!

    Everyone in my family suffers from allergies. We live in the Valley in California and between bad air quality and the high pollen count, I think everyone has allergies where we live. Everything is in bloom right now and my eyes have been nice and red.

    Living in Florida, we battle mold and mildew all the time. It doesn’t help that we all seem to be allergic to it as well. Bio-Allers Yeast/Mold/Dust homeopathic tinctures, which we buy at our local health food store, has really helped us, but flare-ups do occasionally occur and on those occasions Puffs come in really handy!

    Suffering from allergies my entire life. Always looking for something to make life more comfortable. My nose will be bright red year around due to inside and outside allergies.     My daughter suffers from allergies and asthma. She frequently gets colds or is stuffed up or with a runny nose.     Puffs with Vicks are the BEST. I will sometimes just go grab one to smell – LOVE IT – but I save them to use when I am congested. I purchase Puffs with Lotion ALL the time. My whole family of 4 suffer from allergies – all at different times of the year – so our puffs boxes are always being emptied and needing replaced. I love your Koupon Karen site.
