I’ve been a bit MIA today due to all the rain we are getting here in RI. Not sure if you’ve all heard that a lot of Rhode Island is under water! There is major flooding everywhere and some people can’t even get into their homes and others don’t have electricity which means there is no way of getting the water out of their houses. Our situation isnt’ as bad, but we’ve experienced worse before and it’s not fun. We’ve been trying our best to keep the water out of our finished basement. My husband and I took shifts last night and then throughout the day. We are exhausted. But we also know so many people around us have it worse.
So sorry for the lack of posts today. I should be back in full swing tomorrow.

Hey Karen! Glad to hear that you are doing ok (all things considered) I live/work on the seacoast of NH so we are getting hit with the same storm as you. Although there is some NASTY flooding in the Warwick, RI area…. hope that isn’t close to you.
The ground here is just so water logged. Its like pouring water onto a soaked sponge.
I definitely miss your posts, but it’s more important that you keep your family and your home safe. Take care and good luck.
Flooding is terrible in NC as well. We had two teens die on Monday after driving into floodwaters. Sad.
