Saving Mr. Banks Sneak Peak | In Theaters December 2013

I’m so excited to share with you a movie I can not wait to see!   Coming to theaters in December 2013 is “Saving Mr. Banks” which is the first film to depict the iconic entrepreneur Walt Disney played by Tom Hanks. What a perfect choice for the role. I love Tom Hanks and think he’s a brilliant actor and Walt Disney was a brilliant man!

This movie is about what Walt went through to get the rights to make the movie Mary Poppins after promising his daughter’s he would. It wasn’t an easy task as the author P.L. Travers, played by Emma Thompson, didn’t want him to.

“Mary Poppins” went on to win five awards of its 13 Academy Award® nominations: Best Actress (Julie Andrews), Best Effects, Best Film Editing, Original Score and Original Song. Among the nominations were Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay.

    Wow, Tom Hanks looks great. So does Emma Thompson. Walt Disney was an interesting character. I think Tom will do him justice.

    Tom Hanks is perfect as Walt Disney, and I found it interesting to know that he had trouble making Mary Poppins. That movie was one of my favorite movies when I was a child. Emma Thompsom looks so good in this movie!

    thank you for the sneak peak of Saving Mr. Banks. I will try to go see it when it comes out in December.
