My Thoughts: When I was a kid, I loved playing with all my brother’s toys. I remember one Christmas, Santa brought us a super cool race track that was set up in our back hall. It was remote controlled and we played with it all day long, watching the cars race around and around the track. It was so much fun and it’s one thing I will always remember from one of my childhood holidays, besides the the record player in a box I got, but that’s for another time. I’m not sure if the excitement was just because it was something different, or the cars racing around and around, but we loved it.
I have two girls so cars and race tracks aren’t always the first things we get for them so I’m excited when something like this shows up for us to review, and so are the girls! The minute it arrived they had to have it open – right away! So that’s what we did. It’s not a race track like I had when I was a kid, but it’s pretty cool anyway the way the truck goes back and forth, pushing the ramp down as it goes lower and lower. The girls loved it and so did I. They played with it for a while and have pulled it out several times. They put it with all their little people playset’s and it’s now part of their ‘village’.

My favorite toy memory had to be the year I got my Barbie Dreamhouse. It was my first venture in the real estate and I loved that it was as tall as I was and had an elevator. I thought it was the coolest thing ever and played with it for hours!
I remember loving My Little Ponies I had so many of them. I would get rewarded an allowance for doing well in school and I would buy myself a new one whenever I had enough saved up.

My favorite toy growing up was like most girls, Barbie! My sister and I loved them and fought over them on Christmas especially when our grandmother would always buy us identical gifts to be fair. I bopped her in the nose one Christmas morning over Barbie shoes and gave her a bloody nose. That’s a memory you don’t forget!
I can remember having this old raggedy Teddy bear I named stitch because my mom had to sow that thing up almost weekly for me. Inlistbit about 10 years ago when I moved. Wish I still had t to give to my kids now 15 months and 1 month 🙂
The toy I remember most was a doll, cloth body, plastic arms and legs, and plastic head. She was my best friend. We were farm kids and our toys were whatever we found on the farm, so how I got her I don’t have a clue, gift for some reason I’m assuming. Anyway, she was my best buddy, she went with me everywhere, slept with me and was ammo for my sister to use against me! When my sister got mad at me she’s rip this poor dolls head right off! Mom mom used wire to replace her poor head so many times! Eventually her head wasn’t replaceable.. and she passed on to the great beyond (aka burning barrel). Sounds bad but some of my best memories were centered around that doll. My sister is deceased and when I think about the times she ripped that dolls head off it makes me smile! That was my sister! lol Now it’s comical.. then not so much..lol
My barbie house! It had 3 floors. LOVED it!

My favorite toy when I was a little girl was my cabbage patch doll. I wanted one so badly and when I got it I was so excited because it had red hair just like mine. I named her Michelle. My mom just recently told me she found her in some boxes when she was preparing to move…can’t wait to see her again. LOL.
