My Thoughts: My girls love their swig set and play on it all the time. But then they go visit their friends and see all the other accessories that are out there and tell me ours is boring. I’ve thought about swapping out the accessories for something else before, but just haven’t gotten around to it yet. That is why I was super excited when asked if I wanted to review a swing set accessory from Gorilla Swingsets. And I knew my girls would be just as excited, and guess what? They were!

We received the 21″ trapeze bar with rings and we immediately attached it to the swing set and they ran over and fought about who was going to use it first. It happens all the time. We worked it out and my little one was a bit to short for it so we had to have daddy adjust it once more, and then she ran away to do something else. Kids… gotta love them!

But my 6 year old loved it and she’s working hard at pulling herself all the way up. But for now swinging on it is loads of fun (that’s what she tells me, I haven’t tried myself!)

It looks like she’s sitting on something in this picture! But I was so proud of how well she held on.   She takes gymnastics so she’s excited to see what else she can do with this trapeze bar!

My husband hooked it up for me since he’s taller and it was super simple.  He just took off one of the swings and hooked this one one.  Didn’t take in any tools at all.

Swing-N-Slide also make some fun accessories including trapeze bars.  If your looking to add some to your swing set I suggested both of these brands.  Between the two of them you are sure to find something your kids will love.  Or maybe a few things!

    My son plays with our neighbor’s kids all the time. I don’t think any of them are old enough for a trapeez bar yet, but they definitely will be next year. I’d take down one of the swings on our jungle gym and replace it with the trapeez bar and watch the shenanigans ensue camcorder at the ready.
