This week at Walgreens you can grab the Wal-Flex 24 Hour Allergy Relief 5 count on sale for only $3.99. But what makes this deal so great is you will also get a $3.99 Register Reward which is like getting it for FREE! You bet I grabbed one of those.
I suffer from allergies occasionally so I like to have some allergy medication on hand for those times. The last thing I want to do is pay full price last minute so if I find some on sale I grab it. The Wal-Flex 24 Hour Allergy Relief is part of the line of Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products that you can only purchase at Walgreens. In other words it’s their store name product. I’m not against buying these products in the least bit because they are pretty much the same as the brand name. If you look on the box it has the same active ingredient and that’s really all that counts.
I also know I’ll always get them for a good price, because even when they aren’t on sale they will always cost less than the brand name. And I love knowing that my purchase helps support the Walgreens Way to Well Fund™ in which Walgreens will contribute up to $3 million annually too!! And all I have to do is make my purchase and Walgreens will do the rest. Pretty cool!
The Walgreens Way to Well Fund™ will provide free preventive health tests as well as other health and wellness services and education to local communities. Some of those services will include preventive health tests through the National Urban League Health & Wellness Tour and vouchers redeemable in select stores. There are several bloggers offering giveaways of Walgreens gift cards so be sure to enter so you can try some of the Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness products.
Good for Walgreens in supporting wellness in our local communities. I have not tried the walgreens brand yet, but I have heard good things. I will try their brand the next time I need over the counter supplies.
I agree that when you read the ingredient labels on store brands they are basically the same as the name brands. Because of all the ‘expensive’ advertising the name brand products get, I sometimes worry that I won’t get the same results with a store brand. After giving store brands a try, I have found that I like the cheaper price and, with the exception of a few items, I find store brands work just as well as the name brands.
I have not tried Walgreens brands yet, but I have used other store brands. They seem to be the same, only cheaper.
