Do You Wanna Build a Snowman? {behind the scenes look at the recording of this song}
So do you know all the lyrics to every single song from Frozen? If you do please raise your hand. {My hand is raised very high, can you see it?} My girls are obsessed with the movie and the music. But I will admit, the music is beautiful and I do love it too. And my husband questions what’s going on when he doesn’t hear it at least once a day!
We picked up the CD right after we saw the movie and my girls were happy to see that the lyrics to the songs came with it.
Perfect!
Within 2 hours they had them all memorized. But what they found very interesting, was all the different girls that sang some of the songs. Like “Do you want to build a snowman?”. It starts when Anna is very young and then she gets older as the song goes on which means that the person singing gets older as the song goes on too. But of course they use 3 different girls to do the singing. It’s very beautifully done and I was very excited when a friend shared a You Tube video of them recording this song, with the 3 girls! {*Update I know realize this isn’t the girls who actually sang the song but very close!}
My youngest was even more excited because now she knows how they say the part of “it doesn’t have to be snowman”. If you know the song, you know what I mean.

These girls are adorable–they are not actually the girls who sing the part in the movie (though they sound very similar). Super cute!!!
Really Abby because I thought they were?? I know it’s a family who wrote all the music and their children sang too, but maybe it’s not them??
Nope, when you look at this clip on YouTube, it says it’s a cover of the song. They sound so similar to the movie though, for sure!
