Polly Pocket Wall Party Tree House Review & Special Savings

by Karen Mendes | Product Review | 2 Comments

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Polly Pocket. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating. My girls LOVE Polly Pocket and they are still at the age where they love imaginary play, especially my little one. We have a lot of Polly toys and they all have a spot in her room so they stay together. The most recent Polly Pocket play set however, won't be put with the rest of them. Why you ask? Because it stays on her wall! Yes you read that right, the Polly Pocket Wall Party Tree House actually attaches to the wall so they kids can play with it while it's on the wall, and it will stay there as...

Staples Back To School Savings Pass Is Back! #StaplesHasIt It’s that time of year again and of course Staples is making it easy for families to save this back-to-school shopping season with the return of the popular Back-to-School Savings Pass. I didn't get one last year and regretted it so this year I'm going to grab it. The Savings Pass gives you a 15 percent discount on school supplies and you can purchase it for $10 through Aug. 31, 3012. The savings pass is valid through Sept. 21, to accommodate the multiple trips often required to prepare for the new school year. It even includes batteries which I'm always buying. Nutrisystem Results – Week 9 #NSNation

by Karen Mendes | NutriSystem Nation Blogger | 2 Comments

I'm so excited to share with you that I am a Nutrisystem Nation Blogger and I'll be following the Nutrisystem program and sharing my weekly progress right here on the blog. I just completed my 9th week on Nutrisystem and I lost an additional 2.3 lbs for a total of 23.6 lbs so far. I have had a weight problem most of my life. I've always struggled with it and I can see one of my girls may have the same struggle I had, so I'm trying my best to fix it for her now. One way I know I will help is if I fix my problem. They are both learning from me and if I have better eating habits, they will too. This has already proven itself while I've been on Nutrisystem a few times. They are both at...

Band-Aid® and Monsters University Giveaway (ends 7/15)

by Karen Mendes | Giveaways, Product Review | 21 Comments

This post is Sponsored by Band-Aid® but my opinions are 100% my own! My girls are addicted to Band-Aid® and we go through so many of them. My girls are also very dramatic. If they get a bump they instantly think it's going to bleed and we have to run and get a Band-Aid. Once it's in place, then everything is all better. So when there is a fun band-aid to put on, it makes it better even faster. I'm happy to add the Monsters University to our first aid kit because I know this summer they will come in very handy. This summer, school is cool, as everyone’s favorite Monsters are embarking on their next adventure—college! As you may know, the Disney•Pixar Monsters University movie hit...

Fruit of The Loom Underwear for the Entire Family

by Karen Mendes | Product Review | 3 Comments

This post is Sponsored by Fruit of the Loom but my opinions are 100% my own! I do all of the shopping for the family not just for food and household items, but also for clothes. Even for my husband because he's very busy with work. But I'll admit, one thing that sometimes gets overlooked is the underwear and when we all need new ones. I know some people buy new stuff before school starts or around the holidays but I really don't have a schedule for these items. My little ones are growing like weeds these days and while I buy them bigger clothes as they grow, I tend to forget about the garments that are under their clothes. I was happy when Fruit of the Loom offered to send my family...
