We have a white couch in our family room. Yes, you read that right, I said a white couch. Sounds pretty silly to have a white couch in your family room when you have children. And believe it or not, we purchased the couch right before our 2nd daughter was born. Why did we buy a white couch? We had a pretty good reason, we weren’t just insane! There is only a single spot to fit a nice sized couch in our family room and it’s in the direct path of the beautiful sunlight that comes in that room everyday. I love the sunlight, BUT it completely ruined the couch I had there and it was discolored in certain spots. If we had put a solid color couch in there, we were pretty sure it would have looked horrible after a while. We also knew that it was only temporary and once the children were grown we would replace it. We figured it would only last that long anyways.
The reason why I’m telling you all this?? Because it’s ALWAYS in need of cleaning!!! At first I used to keep on it all the time but I found out all too quickly that I just couldn’t keep up so it just got less and less white.
Then I received the Little Green from Bissell and knew the couch was the perfect chance to try it out. It has a very handy brush attachment that makes cleaning things like couches much easier! So I filled up the machine and put the Little Green to work! Now I’ll be very honest with you, I was hoping it worked a little easier, but then again nothing is that easy, is it? What I mean by easier is while it did a great job at cleaning, I had a very hard time getting it to dry with the vacuum attachment but I figured it was probably because of the material and filling of my couch. But it worked great at turning my couch white again!
Then I moved onto the spots on my rug, there are new spots all the time on my rug. Remember I have two small children and our house is lived it. The rug was much easier to clean and dry. I was very impressed with the power of the Little Green and have used it over and over again since I received it. Like I said, there are always new spots on my rug.
It’s very handy to have for quick clean ups and since it’s small, it’s easy to store when not in use.

I think I would clean all the carpets in my house! They haven’t had a deep clean in a while and I want to do that before my little one crawls.
February of this year we finally bought new carpeting for our home. When we bought our home 6 years ago the carpet was brand new…but three kids later that carpet looked like it had been through a war zone. No matter how much I steamed it it still looked dirty. Since we have had the new carpet…no shoes or food or drinks have been on it ! My kids are finally trained but I know one day I will find a spot from someone sneaking onto the carpet with something!! This would be perfect for that!!

I would clean my car. It is so gross, especially the backseat that is always filled with crumbs from the kids.
MMmmm what wouldn’t I like to clean lol. I’d start with the couch we have tan ones not as bad as white but it gets bad. Then I would go to the rugs. I have a 2 and a 4 year old who like to “accidently” spill things.

How I would love to win this. I just organized the playroom (making room for birthday and Christmas toys) and there are two spots on the rug that I can’t seem to get out. So I have this area rug. It’s 6X9, got it for the holidays last year. It was beautiful, I immediately fell in love with it, and now it resides in the livingroom. So I also have these two cats, who, up until the holidays, always resided on the furniture. Now they are always, always, always on the rug. They play on the rug. They carry their food to the rug to eat it. They get sick on the rug. They roll on the rug. I swear one even somehow carried a can of soda onto the rug just to knock it over. I vacuum it constantly to clean up the fur, but this would help with all the little messes. I just know it. 🙂

I love our Little Green! It’s so handy when you have a 1 year old that manages to get spots on everything. I would love to win this for a gift for my parents. They always host all the get-togethers, and someone always ends up spilling something.

I have two little dogs and once in a while, they have little “accidents” that would be so much easier to clean up with one of these!

I regretfully admit that I still have carpet in most of my home. Our steam cleaner broke a couple of weeks ago. It is so big and bulky, I would love to have something like the Little Green as a spot cleaner.
