Saving Money with Zenni Optical

by | | 0 Comments

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Zenni Optical. All opinions are 100% mine. I will do anything to avoid paying full price.  It doesn't matter what I am buying, I rarely buy it the first place I find it and without some kind of research.  It's like second nature for me now.  I will wait for a sale, look for coupons and even check around at various stores to see where I can save even more.  Sometimes all that work pays off and I'm extremely proud when I score a GREAT deal.  And I usually tell everyone I know about it! (I'm sure my friends and family are tired of hearing about my scores!) My husband and I were just discussing the other day that I need to consider making an...

Back To School Shopping at TJ Maxx & A Giveaway ENDED

by | | 1 Comment

I'm also a little sad because it just proves that she is growing up, very quickly! But it's happening so I must deal with it.  And that includes shopping for back to school items.  I remember heading to the mall in August when I was young with my parents and my brother to buy cloths for the new school year.  It's just what you do!  I was excited when I was contacted by a representative from TJ Maxx & Marshall's asking me if I'd like to do some back to school shopping...

BlogHer 10 Recap – Day 1

by | | 1 Comment

Last summer I began hearing buzz about BlogHer and wasn't quite sure what it was all about.  By the time it came around in August I learned a lot and I had wished I was there.  That was when I decided that I was going to attend BlogHer10 for sure this year.  Well I did... and now its over and I'm sad it went by so fast.  So now I'm planning for BlogHer11 which will be in San Diego in 2011, which is one of my favorite places in the entire world!! I was fortunate enough to have two great sponsors for my trip.  Lane Bryant gave me a gift card to buy an outfit, which I turned into a few outfits with my thrifty shopping and Cook's Ham sponsored my entire trip!  I'm very grateful to both of...
