New Secret Clinical Strength Stress Response can help with Valentine’s Day

by | | 6 Comments

New Secret Clinical Strength Stress Response can help with Valentine's Day I'm a very busy person, busier than I ever imagined I'd be.  Between my family, the house, the blog and the holidays (even little days like Valentine's Day are holidays for me on the blog!) stress is on the top of my list most weeks!  Besides what I do on the blog for Valentine’s Day, there is also the fact that I'm thinking about what I want to do for my husband and children to show them I love them - like the gift, what we'll do for dinner as a family, making sure we all have red to wear; the list can go on.  Secret Deodorant even commissioned a study on women’s stresses with HealthyWomen* and found that whether...

Heartburn relief with Omeprazole for Less than the National Brand

by | | 0 Comments

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Omeprazole. All opinions are 100% mine. Ever since I had my babies, I suffer from Heartburn.  It's not fun at all.  I can't go to bed on a full stomach unless I take something.  Not that I make a habit of doing that but if I do I'm in big trouble.  And it seems whenever I travel I suffer even more, probably becuase I tend to enjoy myself more when traveling, which means I eat more and sometimes have a few extra glasses of wine! Of course medicines that treat heartburn can burn a whole in your wallet, especially if you run out last minute and need something now.  There is no waiting for a sale or a...

Krispy Kreme Blogger Summit: The Total Sensory Experience & A Giveaway (ends 2/25)

by | , | 54 Comments

Last month I, along with 13 other bloggers, was invited to Winston-Salem, North Carolina to visit the Krispy Kreme World Headquarters, and this doughnut and coffee-loving blogger couldn't have been happier!!!   My trip was full of excitement from when I woke up at 4 am to head to the airport and it was snowing out!  Since we get snow here often enough, I didn't expect a delay at the airport. Boy, I was wrong, very wrong! I was supposed to arrive in Greensboro North Carolina at 10:30 in plenty of time to be able to settle in, blog a bit and have some lunch with friends before the festivities began.  But that's not how my morning went.  Traveling is always fun but this by far my most "fun"...

Jenga Boom Review

Jenga Boom Review

by | | 137 Comments

Are you ready for an explosion of fun? JENGA Boom, the all-new twist on the classic stacking game, takes the edge-of-your-seat action to a new level with a ticking-time-bomb-exploding platform underneath the tower of blocks. Players now have to rush to push, pull and stack the blocks without knocking over the tower. Just be sure you make your move before the platform blows! Stack it and "explode" it with this awesome Jenga Boom Game. Just like in the classic Jenga game, you'll need a delicate touch to pull blocks out of the stack without knocking it down. But in Jenga Boom, you have to move fast, because you start the detonator before each turn - and you have to get your block out before...
