Printable Coupons 101

The easiest coupons to get your hands on, if you have a computer, are printable coupons.  In the past couple of years I've seen more and more companies offering them, which is great for us! I tell you about printable coupons as I find them, but of course I don't know about every coupon there is.   So how can you find other printable coupons that I may not mention?   One way is to check the company website for the brand you use.  A lot of them will have a coupon or two hosted right there on their site.   While your there, sign up for their e-newsletter because when they add a new coupon, most times they will announce it in their e-newsletter.   You may also want to "like" them on Facebook. ...

Sugar Free Ring Pop Review & Giveaway ENDED

I loved Ring Pops as a kid.  It was cool having a BIG ring on my finger and the fact that it tasted so good, just made it even better.  Now that I'm a mom, I cringe at the thought of all the sugar going into their  mouths and then when you factor in that it can take like an hour to eat the entire Ring Pop, well lets just say I wasn't a huge fan of them and they were only for a Special treat. That changed the day that I received a bag of Sugar Free Ring Pops.  I was very excited because I know how much I enjoyed my rings so I'm happy that my girls can too.  But of course I was curious, how good are they if they are sugar free.   The bag I received had 3 ring pops, which was perfect; one for...

LYSOL Disinfecting Wipes & LYSOL Disinfectant Spray Review & Giveaway ENDED

Spring is here, the flowers and trees are blooming and the allergies are flaring!  I suffered bad allergies when I was a teenager and the minute Spring rolled around and they started opening the windows at school, it all began!  There weren't as many allergy meds then (not that it was that long ago) and the ones that worked made me drowsy so I just had to suffer.  Fortunately I grew out of that and very rarely am I effected by the allergens in the air now and that makes me very happy.  My three year old isn't so lucky.  Her eyes water like crazy and it makes me so sad to see her like that.  We have a lot of trees and flowers in our yard so there's no way of avoiding it. What I had not...

U by Kotex Review & Deal at CVS 5/10-5/17

When I was a teen I hated buying feminine products.  It was embarrassing.  I prayed I never saw anyone I knew from school.  A friend of mine thought it was funny to act out tampon commercials in the aisles at CVS.  She was a bit crazy.  But she wasn't embarrassed, it was a fact of life.  Eventually due to her silliness, I got over it too. The thing was when I was holding a box of pads or tampons, they were extremely easy to identify.  Well things have changed, that's for sure.  Have you see the new U by Kotex package?  It's black with bright pinks, yellows, blues and greens.  Honestly I think it's the coolest looking box and with the colors it doesn't have that stigma attached to it. Now...

Last Minute Mother’s Day Items at CVS

Mother's Day is only 4 days away and I'm sure there is someone who hasn't picked up anything yet for me mom.  Here are a few ideas, coming from a mom, on what you can grab at CVS this week.  And they are budget friendly!  Perfect for a child to purchase with their own money too! Soap Petals -  At first I looked at these thinking, what??  Then I read the instructions.  They are beautiful rose petals made of soap.  The scent they sent me is Lavender Vanilla.  Now I'm not a Lavender lover however, this scent is amazing and I loved it!   You can do a few different things with them: Take the entire rose petal and toss it in the bath tub with you for a luxurious bath. Use one petal to wash your...
