Buttonwood Farm Sunflowers for Wishes

Buttonwood Farm Sunflowers for Wishes

by | , | 0 Comments

Last weekend a friend of mine posted some beautiful pictures of the Sunflowers at Buttonwood Farm in Griswold Connecticut on Facebook.  I LOVE Sunflowers so the pictures immediately caught my attention.  I looked up the farm and saw it was only 35 minutes from my house - I had to take the girls there, I knew they'd love it. They actually get pretty excited for a road trip, even if it's not very far.  They love driving down back roads through places they've never been before so they were excited to go.  We first stopped at Panera for breakfast to see my nephew that works there. And then we headed to Buttonwood Farms to see the Sunflowers.  It's a super easy ride for those of you that are...

Amwell Makes Going to the Doctor Painless #momsloveamwell

I participated in the Amwell blog program as a member of One2One Network. I received compensation but all opinions are my own. Do you hate going to the doctor? I do. It's not so much that I hate the actual visit. I just hate having to drag my sick self out of bed, drive to the office, and then wait. With Amwell, I don't have to! With Amwell, all I have to do is fire up my mobile device or computer, and I can see a doctor. Yay! Amwell - No Insult to Injury I think Amwell is great. It's the largest company of its kind in the U.S., and its doctors are available 24 hours a day. That means that no matter when I'm feeling punky, I can quickly get in touch with a doctor without hacking and...

Celebrating Sleeping Beauty & Maleficent #Disney #VillainDescendants

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #Disney #VillainDescendants #CollectiveBias My girls are big into Disney Princesses.  We've seen all the Princess movies, several times.  We all have our favorite Princess, even my husband does!  But why is it the Princesses always get the credit?  Some of the villains have very important roles in the movies.  I mean if it weren't for the villains, there wouldn't really be a story! My favorite Disney fairytale villain is Maleficent.   She was a favorite of mine even before her movie came out.  I think she's a misunderstood villain because all she really wanted was for someone to love...

Disclosure: I received an all expense paid trip to Los Angeles California for the #DescendantsEvent and #AntManEvent Press Junket.  All opinions are my own and were not swayed by any outside sources! When I first heard we'd be interviewing Kenny Ortega, I had no idea who he was so of course, I looked him up!  I was pretty surprised I hadn't heard his name before because I've watched a lot of the shows he's worked on and so have my girls!  This guy has talent and he's worked with some amazing actors and actresses.   He's mostly known for directing movies like High School Musical 1 and 3, Hocus Pocus, Michael Jackson's This is It and if you are in my age group you may remember Xanadu?  Yeah...
